Lower the resource pack resolution (128x or 256x recommended)
Use Iris + Sodium instead of OptiFine for best performance
Disable heavy shader features such as:
High-quality shadows
Volumetric lighting
High sample counts
Close background applications using GPU resources
Shaders are required for Optimum Realism
Ensure shaders are enabled in Video Settings
Enable the following shader options:
POM / Parallax Occlusion Mapping
Normal & specular maps
Use a LabPBR-compatible shader (BSL, Complementary, Kappa, SEUS PTGI HRR)
Reset shader settings to default
Ensure the correct color space (sRGB / Linear) is selected
Disable conflicting shader packs
Check time-of-day and weather effects
Restart Minecraft after changing shaders
Verify your Minecraft version is supported
Remove conflicting mods and test with shaders only
Allocate sufficient RAM (at least 4–6 GB recommended)
Check latest.log or crash-report files
Update GPU drivers
Ensure RTX-capable GPU is installed
Enable Ray Tracing in world settings
Use the experimental Optimum Realism RTX build only
Some features differ from Java due to engine limitations
